Chronicle Society Shipping Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

At Chronicle Society, we carefully prepare and package every issue before sending it to our members. This Shipping Policy explains when your Chronicle Society issue will be dispatched and what you can expect after placing your order.

1. Dispatch Date

All Chronicle Society monthly issues are dispatched on the 15th of each month.

We prepare orders in advance so that they are ready to leave us on the scheduled dispatch date.

Please note that the 15th is our dispatch date, not a guaranteed delivery date.

2. Delivery Times

Once your issue has been dispatched, delivery times will depend on your location and the postal service being used.

Estimated delivery times may vary, and we cannot guarantee that an issue will arrive on a specific date.

Occasional delays can occur due to postal disruptions, busy periods, weather, customs processing or circumstances outside our control.

3. UK Delivery

For UK members, your issue will be dispatched on the 15th of the month using our chosen postal service.

Most UK deliveries should arrive within the usual timeframe for the service used, but delays can occasionally occur.

If your issue has not arrived within a reasonable period after the dispatch date, please contact us so that we can investigate.

4. International Delivery

We may ship Chronicle Society internationally where the destination is available at checkout.

International delivery times can vary considerably depending on the destination, postal service and customs processing.

International customers should be aware that their country's customs authorities may delay an item before delivery.

5. Customs, Duties and Taxes

For international orders, you may be required to pay customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges imposed by your country's authorities.

Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer unless we specifically state otherwise at checkout.

Chronicle Society has no control over these charges or the decisions made by customs authorities.

6. Incorrect Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the item is returned to us, additional postage may be required before we can resend it.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice that your delivery address is incorrect.

7. Lost or Delayed Deliveries

If your issue does not arrive within a reasonable period following the dispatch date, please contact us.

We may ask you to confirm your delivery address and provide any other information required to investigate the issue with the postal service.

Where an item is confirmed as lost or there is another genuine delivery issue, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.

8. Damaged Deliveries

We take care when packaging every Chronicle Society issue.

If your issue arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging where possible.

This allows us to assess what has happened and determine the appropriate solution.

9. Changes to Delivery Arrangements

We may occasionally need to change our postal provider, packaging or delivery arrangements.

Any such changes will not affect the fact that our standard monthly dispatch date is the 15th of each month, unless we notify customers otherwise.

In exceptional circumstances, dispatch may be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will make reasonable efforts to keep affected customers informed.
